Event: Care Home Research Network conference

The Care Home Research Network (CHRN) will be holding their annual conference on Thursday 17 May 2018, from 9.00 - 16.00 at Guy’s Campus, King's College London.

The agenda will include updates from current research at King’s College London and overseas. There will also be research posters on display.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in workshops based around the management of behavioural symptoms of dementia, pain and the importance of non-verbal communication in dementia.

There will also be talks from two care home managers from the CHRN member homes, giving insight into their involvement with research and the impact of this collaboration on care homes, care staff, residents and researchers. Dr Ingelin Testad will provide the introduction and welcome.

A hot lunch and refreshments will be provided and this will be a great networking opportunity for all our homes to come together and discuss dementia care.

The organisers are keen to get attendees input on where they should take research next, highlighting what future research priorities are.
