The NIHR Maudsley BRC themes and core programmes each have an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) lead researcher. They are responsible for championing local EDI initiatives.

Dr Julian Mutz is a post-doctoral research associate at the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. Cathryn Lewis is Professor of Genetic Epidemiology & Statistics at King’s College London and NIHR Maudsley BRC’s deputy theme lead for Trials, Genomics and Prediction.

The NIHR funding is for five years from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2027.
