Description: Andrea Danese is a clinical scientist aiming to improve detection, assessment, and treatment of emotional disorders in young people, with a particular focus on childhood trauma-related psychopathology. With this aim in mind, he is interested to developing prediction models to accurate identify individual risk of psychopathology in traumatised children, improve screening for child and adolescent mental health problems, and detect early young people with emotional disorders likely to require more intensive forms of treatment.
