BRC researchers on the Highly Cited list doubles to twenty

This year we are delighted to have doubled the number of researchers featured on Clarivate Analytics’ Global Highly Cited Researchers list, which recognises influential researchers around the world. This is measured by their papers ranking in the top 1% of citations for their field and year, and over the last decade.

These individuals are in “that small fraction of the researcher population that significantly extends the frontiers of knowledge” says David Pendlebury, Senior Citation Analyst at the Institute for Scientific Information.

NIHR Maudsley BRC Director, Professor Matthew Hotopf CBE, said: “It’s fantastic to see so many of our researchers on this Global Highly Cited Researchers List, and from across our different research clusters.

We work at the leading-edge of translational research in mental health, and I’m proud to see our talented and influential researchers recognised for their roles as leading forces in their fields”

The following BRC researchers are on this year’s list.
