Emily Armstrong

Biography

I have an interest in translational research and neuroscience. The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) and the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology are both excellent research institutes that are recognised internationally as being two of the best places worldwide to carry out research in this field.

The Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) PhD Studentship was therefore very appealing as it gave me the opportunity to work at both of these institutes, and be surrounded by many highly specialised and passionate researchers.
