Privacy Statement in regards 'Therapeutic Assessment (TA) of Adolescents Presenting with Self Harm versus Standard Psychosocial Assessment and Risk Management. Randomised Controlled Trial: Long-term Follow Up.'

The privacy statement details the information researchers will be collecting in the study, how this information will be used in concordance with King's College London and Hospital Trust guidelines, and how to contact the team for enquiries.

What is the study?

The study will be investigating the long-term outcomes of a novel ‘Therapeutic Assessment’ (TA) method for young people presenting with self-harm at Accident and Emergency. The investigators want to find out whether this assessment method, alongside other factors, had any positive effect on subsequent treatment engagement and A&E presentations in the 6 years following the initial assessment.
