Biography

Having qualified in Medicine in 1991 I started my postgraduate training in Psychiatry at the Maudsley in 1992. I followed an academic track during my training (working as a Lecturer with The Department of Psychological medicine) with research interests in psychopharmacology, functional neuroimaging and Bipolar Disorder.

I have been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2000 running a busy inner city acute inpatient unit but have also continued to be research active and to develop an interest in postgraduate academic education.
