What is CRIS?

The Clinical Record Interactive Search system (CRIS) is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre and Dementia Unit (BRC/U) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records. CRIS is safe and secure, and patients' personal details cannot be accessed by researchers who use it.

Watch Professor Robert Stewart introduce CRIS [33 minute video] at an event held by the Science and Engineering South Consortium (SES) called The data dialogue: at war with data.

CRIS Case Studies

These videos showcase some of the work being carried out by PHD students and researchers using CRIS.
